These points would still apply for a 14 month old. He may not understand the words you use to reassure him, but he will be able to tell from your face and from your body language that you believe he will be safe and that he will be just fine.

All the best,
Jennifer

Do these points still apply? He cries every time I leave the room, not to mention when I leave for work everyday. He doesn’t really understand when I tell him everything is going to be okay. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
